Pahalgam Terror Attack Updates | NIA: Pakistan-Based LeT Behind Kashmir Attack That Killed Tourists

The National Investigation Agency has released a preliminary report on the terror attack that took place in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley on 22nd April. The attack left 26 people dead, most of them tourists. According to sources, the NIA believes the plot was planned by the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, with support from Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI. Investigators say the plan was finalised at Lashkar’s headquarters in Pakistan. Two key attackers have been identified as Pakistani nationals – Hashmi Musa, also known as Suleman, and Ali Bhai, also called Talha Bhai. The NIA says both men were in regular contact with handlers in Pakistan, who gave them instructions on when and how to carry out the attack. The attackers reportedly entered India weeks before the incident.
