From sketches to concrete structures – this video unveils one of Russia’s biggest infrastructural projects in recent history – the Crimean bridge. In 2018 it will connect the banks of the Kerch Strait, providing a convenient link between Crimea and Taman area for millions of people in both Russian regions. The video features a young engineer, inspired by the work of his grandfather, who stood behind the legendary Baikal-Amur railroad – a major Soviet infrastructural project of the 1970’s and 1980’s. The creators of the video used latest computer graphics technology. The soundtrack combines the elements of classical and electronic music.
