Meet Andrew Popchock, Research Specialist II, Biggins Lab Andrew's research explores the mechanisms of how life on earth grows and reproduces. In addition to finding a good fit for his scientific interests in Dr. Biggins' lab, he's also found a group of diverse, inclusive, and supportive colleagues who inspire one another to tackle difficult research questions. The Biggins lab studies the assembly, structure, and function of the kinetochore--a protein structure involved in cell division--in yeast and human cells.
