The number of persons infected with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) climbed to 6,087 following the 209 new cases reported by the Department of Health (DOH). For the fourth straight day, however, the number of recoveries outnumbered the number of deaths, 29 against 10. This brings the totals to 397 deaths, and 516 recoveries as of 4pm today, April 18.
