SecureNinjaTV is in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates to attend the GISEC 2023 Cybersecurity conference, where we learned about the Dubai Electronic Security Center's 100-Days Challenge from DESC Senior Researcher, Khalid Yaqoub. Cybersecurity is an essential part of the future of Dubai and the UAE, and Dubai aims to become the safest city in cyberspace. The DESC 100-Day Challenge is a skills competition to identify the best cybersecurity talent from around the world by solving some of the most difficult cybersecurity issues the region faces. In particular, the competition will involve participants developing a solution to safeguard against a Web Shell attack. The 100 Days Challenge is open to anyone regardless of age or location and the winner will receive 20,000 AED (or about $6000 USD) for their custom solution.
