Join me in this relaxing cinematic calming video as I take on some soothing gardening tasks around my cottage garden. I am slowly transforming my space without putting too much pressure on myself. We'll make lavender syrup for our coffee, which we will enjoy with freshly baked pain au chocolat at the end of the day. There's no hurry. While waiting for the washing machine to finish its cycle, we'll take a stroll to my local Abbey, where we will feed swans and wild geese. I hope you'll enjoy this slow-living English countryside vlog. •~❉᯽❉~• Lavender Syrup •~❉᯽❉~• Make sure you’re not allergic to lavender if you’re trying it for the first time. Ingredients: 1 cup of water 1/2 cup of brown sugar 2 tablespoons of dried culinary lavender flowers In a saucepan, combine the ingredients over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool completely. Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer to remove the lavender flowers. Transfer the syrup to a clean bottle or jar for storage. Store the lavender syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
