Round two action from the 2014 Derby City Classic Diamond Big Foot Challenge, between “The Pearl” Earl Strickland vs “Django” Francisco Bustamante. Strickland was coming off a “come from behind” win over Oscar Dominguez in the first round of this event, while Bustamante had beaten Darren Appleton. This was to determine who would cash in the event. Earl Strickland is a five time US Open 9-Ball Champion and a four time World 9-Ball Champion. He was a five time Player of the Year and Player of the Decade in the 80’s. Bustamante has also been Player of the Year multiple times and was inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame in 2010. He was the defending Derby City Classic Master of the Table from 2013 and had won the Derby City Bank Pool title in that year.
