How to Fix VIS Motors - Test, Monitor, Dismantle & Rebuild. MG Rover Freelander KV6

If you want to check the operation of the VIS motors on the KV6 engine and fix them yourself at virtually zero cost, here's is how to do it. There's a circuit shown for continuous monitoring (but watch the video for why you shouldn't continuously monitor the direction signals as this may actually make the VIS relays stick on), a section on testing the VIS motor on the bench, then the main bit is on removing, dismantling and fixing the micro switches and electric motor. These last two are individually dismantled and cleaned up to restore operation, not just thrown away and replaced.
