ERICK GETS HIS WAY (NO MATTER WHAT) IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://ditto.fm/erick-gets-his-way-n... unfortunately for myself and everyone ever, this is a project i considered 'finished-sounding' at the time. it has been only a month or two from its intended release date and it sounds like garbage to me now. i can only grow as a mixing engineer from here. this EP has some more cheery, more jolly songs than the EVIL and DEPRESSING sounds of the final released EP. this is no accident as i think the world enjoys more negative sounding music than happy. it's more cool i suppose. THE SONGS: 0:07 - You'll Fly 4:14 - Stay the Heck Away 7:47 - Hell Yeah 11:02 - On My Own 14:51 - Total Icon (Part One) 17:43 - Two Cents (Part Two) "You'll Fly" is about change and waiting for the inevitable day that someone important to you moves away. This news initially hit Erick quite Hard, but that's okay because I had written a song about it. It also goes into different emotional territory. "Stay the Heck Away" was a song that did make it into the final cut. It was heard when I heard that my name was being spoken in a conversation that I was not involved in. The concept of being talking about REALLY agitated me for some reason so I wrote a Hate Song. "Hell Yeah" is a more classic Erick sounding song, more major punk rock sound. Lyrics would supposedly get more political for some reason, but has no real lyrical meaning or value, really. "On My Own" was already uploaded to this channel previously, and it was because the song's arrangement I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, it was very not Erick in my opinion and I hated it because it had no place as my child. If someone were to ask me what my most 'beatles' song would be, it would be this one. "Expire" is not shown. "Total Icon / Two Cents" was a song I created to mimic the sound of frustration and distress I felt the night before. --------------------------------- thank you for Listening !! like and Subscribe !! --------------------------------- LYRICS: guess them
