Niko and Navey are there waiting and hoping to pretend play family, the kiddos new favorite game. The reason Adley grabbed the vlog, its Mother’s day!! The kiddos decide they want to do something extra special, so they run up to the kitchen to make Jenny breakfast in bed. They snag a mini waffle maker, pancake mix, maple syrup, and chocolate milk (cause you can’t make mom breakfast without some chocolate milk!!) After hearing the cooking kids, i come out of my bedroom, being extra sneaky so i don’t wake up Jenny, and see if i can help the kiddos. When breakfast is almost ready, its time to get out presents and cards ready. Adley made a few gifts for Jenny at school, so she helps Niko and Navey write notes and draw pictures for Jenny. I love how much we do arts and crafts in our house and the kids do to!! Navey is so smart! With only a little help she was able to wrote the word “mom” all by herself. I’m so proud of her and how much all the kiddos have learned in school this year. With the food ready and our crafts made, we head in to wake mom up! It’s almost like our birthday traditions of waking the kiddos up with balloons, but this routine is almost reversed, with the kiddos waking up mom!! Jenny loves it, and she is an amazing mama!! She deserves it! In the backyard, we are getting ready to make special setting stones for all the moms in our lives, not only Jenny but her mom and my mom. So after making a little bit of a mess, we figure out how to mix the cement and then its time for all the kiddos to put their hands in. A cute gift and also a memory, to look back and see how small the kiddos were. We also get to decorate them with gems, crystals, and pretty rocks. While we wait for those to dry, we go over to Pirate Island. My dad and sisters are over, so we get to hang out with that side of my family and celebrate all the moms. It’s also extra fun cause the kiddos get to play with some of the cousins we don’t see often. They show them the beach and the fish, the pirate ship, and fairy forest! We are about to head to my moms house to wish her a happy mothers day, but before we go, the rocket league team for Spacestation Gaming is in the grand finals of a competition so Niko and I decide to watch while the girls take quick baths and get ready. Our players are doing so good and I am so proud of them, win or lose. I just love getting to share this part of their story with them and share the overall SSG story with all of you who watch. At my mom’s i get an extra special surprise of seeing my grandma! We get to hang out and spend quality time together. The kiddos give mom the hand print step stone they made her and she loves it. She immediately puts it in her garden!! We run around, do ninja tricks, play on a dirt mound, and show off some little movies adley has made!
