The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an action-adventure video game published and developed by Nintendo in 2023, releasing over 6 years after The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Many tout Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) as a "sequel" to 2017's Breath of the Wild (BotW), but this is, in my opinion, completely false. Tears of the Kingdom is not a sequel to Breath of the Wild, merely a flawed recreation of BotW's design.
