How to Connect PS5 Controller to PC [Easy Method]

In this video, I go step-by-step and show you how to connect PS5 controller to PC. The easiest way to connect your PS5 Dualsense controller to your Windows PC is using a USB-C to USB cable. If you don't have that cable then your next option is connecting via bluetooth. To connect your PS5 controller via bluetooth, you'll need to hold down the Playstation button and the share button to the left of the track pad for a few seconds. Once the lights on the controller start blinking, then it's ready for pairing. Open the search bar on your Windows PC and search for Bluetooth and open the bluetooth settings. Ensure your bluetooth is enabled. Then click on the Add Bluetooth or other device button. In the next menu, select Bluetooth. Your PC will scan for available bluetooth enabled devices. Your controller should show up as wireless controller, select it and then you're PS5 controller will be connected to your PC. Next, open Steam. Click on the view button in the top left menu and select Big Picture mode. When you're in Big Picture mode, click on the settings icon on the top right. Next, click on the controller settings. In the next window, be sure to select Playstation Configuration Support. This will make sure Steam recognizes your PS5 controller and map the correct buttons. Your PS5 controller should show up below the Detected Controllers Section. If you wish to make changes to your preferences on your controller, you can select your controller and push the preferences button. In that menu, you can turn off rumble and change your controller color settings. Now you're all set to play any PS5 controller enabled games on your PC.
