Installing a ladder on the Land Rover Discovery 3 / LR3

The ladder has proven to be one of the best accessories I've fitted to the D3 so far - and there's been a few! The main reason is how many uses it has. Access to the roof is obviously easier but it's also easier to open and close the tailgate. It's the perfect anchor point for my hammock. I can hang my bin bag on it. And it has a special mount for a rear lamp! The instructions are terrible so if you're thinking of fitting one to your own Land Rover LR3 or LR4 this 'HOW TO' fitting guide is a must. While we're at it, I also replace the upper tailgate release switch which was definately on it's way out. Hopefully that's saved me some hassle in the future.
