Anet E10 consists of 3 parts: the bottom part with the bed, the frame, and the control unit with all the electronics. The printer comes as an assembly kit, so you will have to put these 3 parts together by yourself. Assembly of an FDM printer does not require special knowledge and additional tools - you will find everything you need in the box. Do not forget to check all the factory mounts, as they could become loose during transportation. The package includes a tool kit, filament for test printing, a USB cable, a spare hot-end, a microSD card, a card reader, and an instruction manual. Before you print for the first time, you need to calibrate the device. This procedure can be performed manually using four spring-loaded screws and a sheet of paper. The spool holder is mounted on the control unit. After going to the feeder, filament travels through the Bowden tube and into the extruder. The monochrome LCD display, a universal interface navigation knob and a Reset button are located on the front panel of the unit. The manufacturer offers the Cura slicer for preparing models. The software can be found on the supplied SD card. Experienced users can use any other software. You can transfer the ready G-code to the printer’s memory using a memory card - the slot is located on the left side panel of the control unit. Anet E10 works perfectly with the most common plastics - ABS, PLA, HIPS. Just do not forget about certain subtle aspects: ABS requires a heating table and doesn't like drafts. PLA, on the contrary, does not need heating, but requires to be properly cooled by the extruder fan. You can choose to print directly on the bed or use a supplied coating, or even install a glass surface and apply glue for better adhesion. Experienced users know about certain life hacks.
