Feeding Artsakh's Children

There are about 2,000 displaced people from Artsakh currently living in Armenia's Tavush Province. 70% are children. Without employment or savings, these families are unable to put food on the table. But thanks to the fundraising efforts of Sarmen Bandaryan and your support, 500 displaced people now have their daily food needs covered for the next 6 months. $1/person/day, or $90,000, is what it takes to deliver fresh food items like fruits, vegetables, dairy and meat products, flour, sugar, and oil to these families. That amount has been secured, and with these 500 people covered, all 2,000 displaced people in Tavush won’t worry about food till May 2021. Every two weeks we’ll be joining our implementing partner for this project, Focus On Children Now (FCN), on food deliveries to document their work, help where we can, and tell the stories of the children displaced by the war in Artsakh.
