Hathras Gangrape Case:Hathras Rape Case: A 19 year old Dalit woman in Uttar Pradesh was gangraped by four upper caste men in Hathras District on 14 September. Today the victim succumbed to her injuries in Delhi's Safdarjung hospital. She was left in a pathetic condition with her tongue chopped off and the body paralyzed. Her death has sparked outrage with the Bhim Army workers and Aam Aadmi Party blocking to protest in the National Capital demanding justice for the girl. UP ADG law & order Prashant Kumar spoke to Times Network and clarified that the victim's tongue was not slit, it is a rumour. He further asked people to not pay heed to any such rumours. He even asked the Hathras Police to tweet it to prevent panic.
