In an interview aired on Israel’s Channel 12, they reported that their captors allowed them to exercise, taught new games to the children, including card games, and treated women with respect. Ajam, the daughter, described that she was given the nickname 'Salsabeel'. They added that one of the captors used a hand towel to avoid direct contact during a game of arm-wrestling.
