After reaching a tipping point, the protagonist finds themselves caught in a whirlwind of chaos. Resting on a bench, they begin to withdraw from the world around them, gradually losing their sense of perception. In this state of detachment, their sensory organs are rubbed off, until a neural process stirs deep within, prompting the regeneration of those organs. As their eyes slowly creep back into their sockets, the world reemerges, suddenly in colour. However, this renewed vision is soon overwhelmed by the intensity of the terrifying reality that floods their senses. Now with their eyes closed, the remaining organs slowly begin to regenerate, the process faint and gradual, displaying a microscopic world. Accompanied by the clarity to listen and reflect, they open their eyes again and realize they’re sitting in a park - suddenly aware and, for the first time, ready to leave.
