How to Fit Handles to Doors and Drawers with Wickes

Use your own choice of handles on doors and drawers to make your kitchen truly unique. Learn how to fit handles to cabinet doors and drawers with this step by step guide from one of our Wickes experts. These are the steps to fit your handle: 1. Work out where the handle will attach to your door by checking the manufacturer's instructions. 2. Using a G clamp, place an off cut of wood on the outside of the door, this is to ensure the wood does not splinter when you drill into the door. 3. Use a drill bit slightly wider than the thread of the screw to drill two holes from the inside of the door. 4. Attach the handle, making sure you do not over tighten. Drawer handles are fitted using the same process, but rather than sitting vertically, they sit horizontally.
