Sydney Opera House New Year's Eve Gala, After Party and Fireworks!

On the 2025 new year’s eve, we went to the Sydney Opera house for the new year’s eve Opera Gala. Katie dressed up to the nines, kicked up the heels. We literally left the crowds behind as we walked into this iconic sail like Opera house. In this video, we welcomed the new year of 2025 and celebrated our 25 year anniversary with the spectacular Sydney New Year’s Eve fireworks. This architecture masterpiece was designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzon in 1957. Construction began in 1959 and was completed in 1973. These are the original competition drawings of Sydney Opera house, from the 1958 report, also known as the red book that was presented by Jorn Utzon himself to the Sydney Opera house committee. 67 years later after these architecture drawings , we finally had chance to appreciate this timeless piece from a close distance. After the fantastic Opera Gala, with holiday spirit, we went to the after party in the north foyer.
