Before you start building your website you should create and gather your copy, images, logo and favicon. This will make building your site much easier and you can concentrate on the build with few interruptions. This is the second preliminary video in my series on WordPress Full Site and Block Editing. If you didn't catch my first video explaining what WordPress is and how editing WordPress has evolved from the Classic Editor to The Block Editor, here is a link. • WordPress Gutenberg and Blocks Explai... More intro videos include; choosing a theme and installing, choosing a theme style and adding content. (with a lot of mistakes for us to edit in future lessons) After the initial (5) set up tutorials it's time to start editing the site. Videos will post one a day at 5 p.m. Until we've covered the basics to building a site. We will explore each element of a WordPress website, block by block and edit by edit. These videos will be designed both for watching in a series to learn from beginning to end of making a website and for quick reference to individual edits of specific blocks, site wide items like favicons, site titles, taglines and logos to editing individual blocks such as Heading, paragraphs, image, overlays and cover blocks, column and rows etc. With recent changes in WordPress more options have been opened up to web developers and new blocks are being created all the time. More editing options are being opened to each of those blocks every day. So this series will be ongoing as long as it is useful or until it becomes obsolete.
