"Watcher of Realms" is a mobile and pc based game that offers a captivating journey into the realm of fantasy gaming, with a mix of impressive content variety, a refreshing arena mode, and deeply strategic gameplay that can keep players engaged for hours on end, but as it can be played anywhere/anytime via the mobile client, it also rewards the busy gamer even if they can only play off and on during breaks in their day. From my perspective it’s reminiscent of both Raid Shadow Legends, and Arknights launching with a similar tower defense style gameplay to Arknights, but the aesthetic and overall content variety approaching that of Raid. There are over 100 unique heroes at the time of launch across 8 different factions, and there is a large focus on collecting, and building these heroes out to take advantage of complementary skills. While the game boasts several strengths, it isn't without its drawbacks, including gacha mechanics that might put off some players or prey upon certain personalities, slow energy regeneration, and some content that while rewarding is too simple causing it to read or feel more like a mundane task.
