On today's Times Now special show, Newshour, Navika Kumar discusses Prime Minister Narendra Modi's first interview after BJP's manifesto was released. The Prime Minister on Monday spoke on several issues, including on Ram Mandir, Opposition, Electoral Bond and others, in an interview to news agency ANI ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. During the debate, Smita Prakash said, "PM is very clear on what he wants to say. He doesn't get bogged down by questions; he doesn't get bogged down by opposition. He does note every single criticism that comes his way... Never in 10 years has PM given an interview out of fear." Meanwhile Sanjay Jha said, "I wish the PM had done a press conference. I have never seen a leader in a democracy who hasn't held a press conference... Manmohan Singh gave 117 press conferences." Shehzad Poonawalla said, "This is not the Congress of Mahatma Gandhi and Indira Gandhi. This is the Congress of Rahul Gandhi. This Congress denies the existence of Lord Ram. This Congress opposes the Pran Pratishtha."
