After watching the Conor Benn vs Adrian Granados fight on DAZN lastnight and I've come to one conclusion. Conor Benn is not ready for any of the elite welterweights at all. My critic of Conor is he loads up on his punches all the time. He literally was swinging in the air trying to land that one knockout blow to Granados. Conor Benn started the third poorly, missing so wildly with a shot that he did a full 360 degree spin in the air like a ballerina. No to be fair Conor did win in a unanimous decision against Granados. And maybe he was even a bit too anxious to please the crowd. But if he thinks that he's ready for any of the top welterweight champions in the division he's crazy as hell! Boots Ennis, Vergil Ortiz, Terence Crawford, Errol Spence or maybe even Shawn Porter would give Conor the business in my opinion. Conor Benn says he would like to fight Adrien Bronor next... and in my opinion that would be a dam good fight. Especially if he can let his hands go.
