BPPV is the most common cause of dizziness across the lifespan. Most commonly it affects the posterior canal, but on the rare occasion it can affect the anterior canal. In this video we review our "Go To" treatment for BPPV affecting the anterior canal. Anterior canal involvement is typically picked up when there is downbeat torsional nystagmus with Dix-Hallpike testing. Given the orientation of the anterior canal, the torsional component may be hard to see.
