In this video, series and parallel circuits are explained. Through real-life examples, it is easy to understand how important it is to know how these circuits work and how to calculate them. For all students and future electrical engineers, I hope this will be useful. Enjoy. The series and parallel circuits consists of a power supply and a minimum of 2 resistors. In case there are several resistors in series, we just simply add them up and get the total resistance of the series circuit, as shown by the official equation. To calculate current we use Ohm's law. Parallel and series circuits makes the most basic knowledge in electrical engineering and without that knowledge no one can be successful in this industry. As you can see, a parallel circuit consists of a power supply and a minimum of two or more consumers, in our case two resistors.
