The BEST Wireless Redstone System in Minecraft

this video has captions :3    • [ Java ] Static Wind Charge Generator V5   - ‪@hectoris919‬ 's generator okay, heres the WDL that I used in the video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_BDw... IF YOURE INTERESTED IN THE TECHNICAL DETAILS OF THE MACHINE AND ITS PROMISES FOR THE FUTURE ILL WRITE THAT ALL HERE: The world download contains all the devices i used in the video. To turn them on, simply right click the noteblock next to the lamp, if the lamp is on it should be working. then drop an arrow straight down the hatch onto the slime block. If youre going to take a schematic for use elsewhere, USE THE ONE AT THE BEACH. It broke the least. These are all quite prototypy and the jungle one seems to be somewhat weird. This current version of the machine has a lot of flaws. One is inconsistency with the wind charge generation device, which seems to be somewhat directional, being completely inoperable when the wind charge generator is on the North and East side, with some propensity to randomly break on the West side. The machine is seemingly most stable when the generator is on the South side of the glass box (the one at the beach). I didn't fix this because I have no clue why its happening and I dont know much about breeze charge generation. There's also inconsistency with the location of the breeze charge in conjunction with the arrow, causing the occasional miss, somethign that would be necessary to fix in order to add an authenticator which checks for 2-3 breeze charge hits in a row. The 'pinholes' that determine when the device is triggered is at 45 degree increments for convenience, you can put them at any angle as long as you use various blocks with different sizes to make that hole as small as possible to decrease likelyhood of misfiring. I forgot to mention this in the video, but this provides a much higher fidelity way of tracking looking angle than creakings, having a potential use in computer screens for computational redstone devices For multiplayer, each machine can only reasonably have a single arrow. Any more doesnt really make sense (only one arrow will hit the charge). If you want to have multiple people using the same device, you could implement a system that cycles a set of arrows, this could be useful for communal mobswitches possibly. For true independent usage, each person will need their own device, which is something that can be much more achievable given some new concepts I came up with as i was making this video, stuff i talk about below. Some new ideas for the machine is that you could potentially clip the breeze charge into a very thin object in which the center of the breeze charge lies on one side of it and a tiny amount of it is exposed on the other side. Thus, you can hit the tiny bit with the arrow very predictably, and since the breeze charge exists on the other side of a solid barrier, its entirely separate from the arrow, and cant impart indeterminable velocity on it. This negates the need for a large chamber, which has the potential to make the device many times smaller. Theres a small prototype for this concept nearby the jungle setup at 130 142 198 in the world download, where if you position an arrow on the piston side of the slime block facing straight down, and hit the note block below to summon a breeze charge and launch the arrow, you can see that the breeze charge, despite exploding right next to the arrow, does not knock it away. This could make the machine much more practical to tile by making it much smaller. The difficulty arises in getting a breeze charge into the position that i use the command block to put it in. If you want more info on the idea and you want to experiment with a more compact concept let me know on discord :3 I didnt further look into this design concept because i literally came up with it as i was finishing this video. I truly encourage the people who are really interested in where this tech can go to explore ways to compact the design and make it reliable in many more ways. Texture Pack Details: Vanilla Tweaks(This affects mainly everything involved with 3D-ifying components and see through scaffolding and the Dark Mode GUI), Ph1lza’s Diamond Netherite Highlights Pack, some random netherite elytra pack you can probably find by googling. Shader Details: I use Complimentary Reimagined, on the mod Iris Shaders. Complimentary Shaders is similar and also great.
