Making A Bench Top Vise - Part One

G'day everyone, For the final project to cap off the year I am going to be making a small bench mounted hobby vise for my small maker space. It is not a huge set up at the moment, only consisting of my 3d printer and soldering station, and a few other craft tools, but one thing that it is sorely lacking is a small vise. I will probably use it for holding 3d prints, airfix parts and small pcbs or wiring for soldering. As is tradition (because I tend to only buy material twice a year in bulk) I am running quite low on steel and I will have to make it with only off cuts that I have laying about from projects from earlier in the year. This is part one in what will be a two part build series. I hope you enjoy the video.
