Japanese Yen Technical Analysis: USD/JPY, EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY

It’s been a tough week and change for USD/JPY bulls as the pair has pushed seven consecutive days of weakness following the failed run at the 148.00 level. When a move of that nature shows naturally larger concerns appear as to what may be behind the push, and given the very notable move in longer-term Japanese yields, this sparks fears of carry unwind scenarios which I spoke about in yesterday’s video. In this video, I largely wanted to keep it shorter-term looking at strategy across the JPY. I still think there’s more amenable pastures for both JPY-strength and JPY-weakness, via EUR/JPY and GBP/JPY, respectively. I go over setups in each pair in this video.
