Stress Less-Live Longer: Strategies to Manage Stress Women’s Health Symposium Sonoma Valley Hospital

Titled “Stress Less-Live Longer: Strategies to Manage Stress,” Presentations will be offered by two health care professionals from the University of California, San Francisco — Elissa Epel and Dr. Dena Dubal. Epel is the Sario Ekman chair of human emotions and vice chair of psychology and community in the psychiatry and behavioral sciences department. She is also the director of the Climate Mental Health Council. Dr. Dubal is a professor of neurology and the David A. Coulter Endowed Chair in aging and neurodegenerative disease. Dr. S. Andrew Josephson of UCSF will moderate the session. He is the chair of the neurology department and the Carmen Castro Franceschi & Gladyne K. Mitchell Neurohospitalist Distinguished Professor. The event is being sponsored by several people, including Joan Weill, Kimberly Blattner, Cherie Hughes, Tom & JaMel Perkins, Elizabeth Sealey, Caroline Sebastiani, Pam Story and Judy Vadasz. 5th Annual Women’s Health Symposium returns Tuesday, May 6 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Hanna Center. This year’s theme is Stress Less, Live Longer. The event brings together health experts, meaningful conversations, and an inspiring community of women who care about living well. Box lunches will be provided, and we hope you’ll leave feeling both informed and inspired.
