In This Video I explore the lore behind each of the town takeovers that we’ve had so far in Apex Legends. There have been 7 Town takeovers in apex legend so far, spanning from season 0 to season 9. Each town takeover takes its theme from a specific legend and often a lot of lore behind each takeover form that legends background. I explore the lore behind each town takeover in detail and look at how the history and backstory of the legend the town takeover is themed on influences what the town takeover is. Lore is really important to everything we see in apex legends and it’s often the lore that makes everything more meaningful and exciting. This is especially true for town takeovers and the lore plays a really key role In deciding how a town takeover looks as well as the unique interactive elements of the town takeovers itself. Town Takeovers usually come with a collection event and so I thought the announcement of the Genesis collection event is the perfect time to reflect on all the town takeovers. Sadly we won’t be getting a town takeover in the Genesis collection event but it will bring back skull town which is amazing.
