What a milestone! On July 10th, after 3 years of development and a record 10 months of construction, we successfully performed the first passenger run under vacuum conditions. We achieved the unthinkable by being the first team in Europe to transport passengers in a hyperloop, a feat that was done only once before in the world. According to a planned procedure, the demonstrator’s high-performance pumps created a partial vacuum of ten millibars inside the concrete tube, creating the ideal conditions for the first ride. Hovering and propulsion systems were activated and accelerated the manned vehicle through the test segment without contact in an almost airless space.
