Hansen Solubility Parameters (HSP) of compounds irritating to rabbit eyes have similar values.The HSP of the rabbit eye biomembrane can be determined by analyzing the stimulated and non-stimulated compounds. By calculating the HSP distance between the HSP of the rabbit eye and the HSP of the compound, it is possible to judge whether the compound is an irritant or not. That is, we have built a system to determine if a compound is irritant or not without animal testing. Part 2 has also been uploaded. part 2 explains the quantitative analysis method.
