I was really excited to ride this motorcycle mostly because I was looking into buying one. It really takes me a long time to research, compare, research again, and purchase expensive things like cars, motorcycles, TVs... anything that requires me to use credit. Riding the Bonneville at slow speeds is a delight! Bonnie is so low to the ground that makes a low center of gravity. The handlebars comfortable. The clutch lever control is fantastic, which also makes it delightful for low speed maneuvering!!! Its when the Speedmaster starts getting to the higher speeds that things seem to change. I felt really high sitting on top of the bike rather then in the bike, which made the wind hit you like a brick. The speedmaster will do highway speeds, but you may need to do some customization to make it feel comfortable at high speeds. In the twisties, the Speedmaster is tamed and quite fun. I call it leisurely. I did however have a hard time upshifting due to the trans shifter seemed to close to the peg, and I was unable to get my toe under the shifter. One thing I did forget to mention was the fantastic color of the paint! The Cordovan Red paint is stunning and believe me the camera won't do it justice.
