Originated in Austria, Red Bull is a popular energy drink brand around the world and despite its tagline promising that it ‘gives you wings’, that’s not really the case. However, you do get an instant energy spike thanks to its ingredients. Red Bull sponsors extreme sports and high-adrenaline events and is ranked the third most valuable soft drink brand behind Coca-Cola and Pepsi. So what is inside those energy-filled cans and how is actually made in factories? Join me today as I will show how this popular energy drink is manufactured in today’s video. Before we see the process of its manufacture, let me tell you Red Bull’s interesting back story! Back in the 70s in Thailand, a drink called Krating Daeng was a massive hit among truck drivers and rural laborers who needed to stay alert while at work. It was introduced by a guy called Chaleo Yoovidhya who was the owner of T. C Pharmaceutical. In 1982 and Austrian entrepreneur Dietrich Mateschitz was on a trip to Thailand and found that this drink gave him a boost and helped with his jet lag. So he saw a sales potential in this product and teamed up with Yoovidhya. They tweaked the recipe to suit the Western taste buds and launched Red Bull in Austria in 1987. And what came next was Red Bull’s rapid growth in popularity. It became the drink marketed as a trendy and premium beverage, meanwhile Krating Daeng remained popular among blue-collar workers. Today you can find both drinks and they dominate both ends of the price spectrum. Red Bull is sold in around 170 countries and its flavoring still comes from Bangkok. / @reallifeexplorer2326 🔔Subscribe to Our CHannel for mind-blowing facts and entertainment on Tech, Food & lots more!!
