Render Beeswax & Honey From Cappings- Small Batch Easy Method Part One!

In part one of this video, I will show you how I rendered the beeswax and recaptured the honey from our honeycomb cappings. Since this is our first season of beekeeping, we only harvested fifteen medium frames of honey from our five hives, but I was surprised at how much honey and wax we were able to recapture- even after letting the cappings drain overnight! This video shows the entire process of recapturing the honey, and our part two of the video will show the wax melting and filtering stage.
