About a month ago, we took in a beautiful litter of kittens. Two were quickly adopted together, but we still have Bogart and Buddy, who are about 4 months old. Bogart is a perfect, handsome, affectionate flame point male kitten who loves to play and loves to be petted. Buddy is the sweetest kitten you will ever meet! When he arrived, we noticed that he was holding his head somewhat tilted and was a little off-balance, but we hoped it would go away overtime as maybe a kitten injury or illness. However, he has been thoroughly evaluated and he is not sick and we have cured any parasites. When he arrived, he had a large wound on the back of his neck and head area. It has now been determined that he was likely attacked as a small kitten and something got a hold of him and shook him enough to cause permanent, but mild, brain damage. As a result, he continues to be a bit wobbly and off-balance. However, this does not cause him any serious problems. He can eat, play, and use the litter box with no issues. He is having a rough time at the rescue because the other kittens try to wrestle and play with him and due to his balance problems, he cannot keep up and often just gets knocked over, and it is sad to watch. He needs a loving home where he and his brother can be adopted together as indoor only cats where they can get the love and attention they deserve. Buddy does not need any extra medical attention due to his brain injury. He just needs a loving adopter, who will accept him for who he is and provide him a safe environment. He is a very affectionate little kitten who loves to sit in your lap, give you kisses, and be petted. Please message us if you would like to adopt these together.
