But they don't always look very intimidating. Yet, even a smaller tsunami can still cause quite the damage. In this video we will be looking at tsunami wave heights, ranging from a few feet to DOZENS of feet tall. Unlike most other videos, I will also be showing actual tsunami footage as well. It is one thing to see a 3D model of a stereotypical tsunami wave, but actual tsunamis of these heights look and behave way differently than you might expect. Tsunamis don't always look like giant white waves that you can see from a mile way, they can be a powerful surge of water that just keeps coming and seemingly won't ever stop. The graphic and infocards I use for each increment in height for a tsunami is to show scale and to give an example, because sometimes it is truly difficult to grasp how tall these waves are, and just how devastating these waves can be and have been before in the past. Hope the video is enjoyable, I put in quite the effort to make the graphics, also it was difficult to find good footage and I had a friend who is knowledgeable in tsunami vids help me find most of the footage. Also RIP because of the fact that I had to remove 2 clips because they were copyright claimed. #tsunami #size #earthquake
