Why Gen Z Hates Capitalism

There are definitely some young people who like capitalism because they can see the many opportunities in it, but currently under late stage capitalism a lot of young people are suffering from its consequences. #millennials already went through the ringer when it comes to capitalism and they feel scammed now. Don’t let Gen Z fall into the same fate by simply obeying the system. We should try and come up with a new one that would ideally combine capitalism with socialism, but currently there aren’t many better alternatives to capitalism. To clarify: many people are saying that socialism is the middle ground between communism and capitalism and in economic theory that’s more or less true, but historically it starts to lean more into one side over time. Also I personally don’t want to blindly promote socialism, unless I can put forward a functional socialist system that withstands real life scrutiny and tribulations. I feel it would be disingenuous to simply promote an ideology without addressing its own major flaws and shortcomings. So please, think for yourself and remember, socio economic ideologies are not our biggest problem, it’s corrupt people in powerful positions that ruin everything.
