This is yet another short film from the Here and Now series I directed in 1988. Nigel Benn was a relatively unknown boxer at the time but looked extremely promising, hence the film. What's arguably quite interesting now, some 27 years later is that his proud claims that he'd be world champion came true, becoming WBO Middleweight Champion in 1990 and WBC Super Middleweight Champion in 1992. He parted company with his trainer Bryan Lynch shortly after this film was made so some of the comments made by both of them are now somewhat ironic. Enjoy!!!
