Will is used to make informal requests where else would is used to make formal request. Will can be used for present and future to make offers. On the other hand, would is used for the past to make offers. Will is used to talk about the future and would is used to talk about the future in the past. Let’s look at some examples using will and would. Using will to make informal requests for example- will you help me? Using Would to make formal/polite requests, example- would you help me? Using Will to make an offers, for instance- I will help you. Using Would to make an offer in the past- I would have helped you. Will to talk about the future, He will tutor me next month.
