Why I removed the decked drawer system from my Ram. Let's just say it was so good in a lot of ways. It could store loads of stuff, kept my stuff organized. The drawers were weatherproof, kept my stuff dry, and dust free. But unfortunately it took up too much space. I couldn't carry stuff that I needed to haul. I haul wheels and tires all the time. I also haul stuff for my house. I haul stuff for my business. I haul my motorcycles as well. The setup just takes up too much space. There is no way to secure loads either with it in there. It also weighs about 300 lbs and that cuts down on my payload capacity. I just decided the cons out weighed the pros. So I removed it and sold it within one day. Nice thing was, I made back the $500 I paid for it. Now its gone. I was surfing the local classifieds last week and found a great deal on these Decked Drawers for the bed of my truck. I've been looking at them and couldn't quite decide if they were worth the price. Well, I found them for less than half the cost of new and decided they were worth it.
