In this video, I will be showing you part 6 of 8 steps on How To Mix Rap Vocals In Logic Pro X. For Part 6 I go over how to use and effectively add “Auto Tune” to your rap style vocals. Auto tune is a great way to add new vibes and more color to your vocals. Most importantly it is a GREAT way to keep your vocals in key, even if you don’t use a ton of auto tune. Just set your vocal key to the same key as the beat & you should be good to go. -Wanna add more auto tune?? Just turn up the retune speed.. -Got to much Auto Tune..??? Just turn down the retune speed. It’s simple!! -Want your vocals to sound more natural, but still have that auto tune effect..?? ~ Turn up the “Humanize” button to 100%. -Looking for a T-Pain Effect..?? Turn down the “humanize” knob to 0 and make sure to have a low retune speed of around 0-20. This will give you that famous robotic Auto Tune Effect.
