Let's post something new! I posted three full-length songs that I teased before, and I showcased snippets of others in the trailer. Why not showcase something that's been in the dark (until now, that is) The song "Seashells" is the 6th song on the album. Most video games incorporate a water-based setting, either opting for a beach or a completely submerged world. For this make-pretend video game, I opted for the latter, making a song one would hear while traversing a breezy oceanside with little traffic (apart from the enemies one may encounter) I knew one instrument going in that HAD to be used, and that was the Steelpan! It's been used in so, so many beachy themes in music, movies, and pretty much most media, and it was one of the first instruments to give Seashells its structure. This song felt a little more of an obligation at first, since I was so accustomed to making late-game music, but I've come to prefer it over others due to how much calmer and chill it is (while still being a personal bop) Go ahead and give it a listen! #music #musicproduction #musicalcomposition #digitalproduction #chiptune #animation #retrovibes
