Just 30 minutes from Tulum Mexico is the Sian Ka'an Mangroves. We decided to rent a private boat tour of this adventure for 650 pesos each. If you're looking for things to do in Tulum Mexico this is something YOU MUST DO!! We drove 30minutes south of Tulum Mexico to a town called Muyil where we rented a boat, normally the private boat is 2,500 pesos. The entire tour lasted about 2 hours in total and you get to swim through the mangroves for about 45minutes.
