A special reworked version of my original Angel Dust song, featuring a brand new instrumental and updated production, newly written verses and vocal material, sound design, voice acted story, and artwork. (Yes, there is also a typo in the lyrics, woops!) It's been almost a year to the day since the original version of 'Use Me Up' was released. Whereas the original was a love letter to the era of the pilot of Hazbin, this new special version is the same sentiment but extended towards everyone who has supported me ever since. VIP is a culmination of a year's worth of progress and development with how I produce music. The house-like vibe and cleaner production, alongside with the newly written verses and vocal parts show what I hope is an improvement in my abilities as both a producer and as a singer too. The original version was something I was almost incredibly proud of and VIP is what I consider to be the definitive edition of that accomplishment. I am also once again thrilled to welcome back Ayyy-Imma-Ninja to provide a new rendition of the artwork she created for the original. Reflecting what we've now seen in the official previews of the show, as well as the new tone and intent behind VIP's updates, she did a wonderful job at capturing exactly what I hoped for when making it. And for a while, it's been difficult to juggle and cope with it.
