At the age of 19, Kate Bush released her debut album "The Kick Inside". Her single "Wuthering Heights" topped the UK Singles Chart for four weeks in 1978 and she became the first woman to have a UK number one with a self-written song. The beautiful "The Man With The Child In His Eyes" is also on this great album. Her other hits include "Babooshka", "Running Up That Hill", "Don't Give Up" and "King Of The Mountain". A friend of mine once made an astute observation about her videos. We were watching a Kate Bush marathon and most of them were low budget and featured her doing modern dance in a leotard. Then we watched "Running Up That Hill" and my friend said "Don't you get the feeling all of her earlier videos were trying to be like this one? How true. Enjoy! Thanks For Your Comments.
