Wahhabism is a Sunni Islamic revivalist and fundamentalist movement associated with the reformist doctrines of the 18th-century Arabian Islamic scholar, theologian, preacher, and activist Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab (c. 1703–1792). He established the Muwahhidun movement (which they insist on being called) in the region of Najd in central Arabia, a reform movement that emphasises purging traditional practices. Wahhabism is highly self-centered and extremely intolerant of progressive ideologies, other religions, and other Islamic sects such as Shiism and Sufism. In August 1924 they broke into people’s houses in the Hejazi city of Taif, threatened them, and stole their money at gunpoint. They then decapitated boys and old men, and were amused by the horrified women who were screaming and weeping. Many of Taif’s women hid in their water-wells to escape the ongoing rape and murder committed by the Wahhabis. They also murdered many Imams while they prayed in their mosques. Memoirs of Mr. Hempher, The British Spy to the Middle East or Confessions of a British Spy is a document purporting to be the account by an 18th-century British agent, Hempher, of his instrumental role in founding Wahhabism, as part of a conspiracy to corrupt Islam. Whilst it may well be an Ottoman fabrication, it does seem to expose British Intelligence’s strategy to divide Islam undermining Ottoman Empire. Harry St John Bridger Philby, CIE (3 April 1885 – 30 September 1960), also known as Jack Philby or Sheikh Abdullah, was a British Arabist, adviser, explorer, writer, and Colonial Office intelligence officer. He claimed to have been on a special mission to central Arabia during 1917-1918. He concluded that the Wahhabi movement under Ibn Saud would, with British political and military support, effectively serve British military and political objectives in the Arabian Peninsula and beyond during the ongoing war and in its aftermath. It is widely believed that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) had ties with Osama Bin Laden's al-Qaeda and its "Afghan Arab" fighters when it armed Mujahideen groups to fight the Soviet Union during the Soviet–Afghan War. Timber Sycamore was a classified weapons supply and training program run by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) many ended up in possession of the Islamic State within two months of leaving the factory. A great deal of what I have reported is conjecture, but the degree to which all seem to follow a similar theme of western interests supporting radical Islamic groups in opposition to Shia’s and Sufis. The motivation for this appears to be divide and rule. My comments on social media are even more speculative, but again there seem to be recurring themes. Where this all gets really sinister is in the condemnation of the religious practices of fellow Muslims as being Satanic, vigorously promoted by social media and promoted by an army of foot soldiers from the Muslim diaspora. Not only is Shams Al Ma’arif singled out as promoting black magic and circuitously polytheism, but the logic appears to have been borrowed from HP Lovecraft’s Necronomicon.
