Being a full time musician or professional in the music industry is a pretty big step, and there really isn't any clear cut guide to making it happen. However, I've learned (and am continuing to learn) a few things during my own transition that I figured would be helpful to share so that you can take your shot at making it happen, quit your job (if it's not something you enjoy), and get into the music industry full time.
