The Start of The Deadliest War in History | Battle of Westerplatte

Located in the North West of Poland, near to the city of Gdańsk, the Germans invaded Westerplatte on the Baltic Coast, on the 1st September 1939. This invasion marked the beginning of World War 2, the deadliest war in History. In this video I explain a little bit of the history of what happened, and show you some of the remains of the Battle of Westerplatte. Also, I visit the Polish Post Office where the Danzig Police and German Paramilitaries also invaded, and executed the surrendering soldiers.
